Fieldbot has successfully developed and implemented a patented technology that facilitates a much faster and more powerful Intelligent Drive System that universally increases the maximum speed of any slow, unreliable, and imprecise "start-stop move" center pivot irrigation machine by 10X with improved reliability, uniform application, and timely precision.Fieldbot's smartly repurposed high-speed constant move irrigation pivot, when newly used for more effectively applying crop protectants, e.g., herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides on potato crops as an "all-electric and autonomous" alternative to conventional petroleum-based application methods such as ground sprayers and aircraft, results in significantly higher yields at a much lower production cost with no gas or diesel emissions.Compared to conventional application methods, chemigation (injecting directly into irrigation water) via all-electric high-speed constant move irrigation pivots provides better application coverage and timing combined with reduced wind drift and deeper canopy penetration (more available water) resulting in increased overall input use efficiency that both optimizes water and chemical usage (less water-energy and chemical) and extends the total growing days for increased yields.And this modern agriculture transformation is only the first step towards a far more efficient and profitable method for sustainably growing high-value crops.The next step for Fieldbot is to then utilize the new high-speed irrigation pivot as an on-pivot camera and sensor technology platform for collecting in-season agronomic data in real-time directly from the same machine that is now positively applying all the water, nutrients, and crop protectants.The resulting AI-driven insights can then also be actuated by the same machine to close the loop in this new era of autonomous crop management for agriculture electrification and sustainable operations and create a new full-scale Data Harvesting Apparatus.
