Fiesta© San Antonio, one of the nation's premier festivals, takes place each April to honor the memory of the heroes of the Alamo and the battle of San Jacinto and celebrate San Antonio's rich and diverse cultures. This Texas-sized celebration consists more than 100 events, organized by local non-profit organizations. More than 3.5 million people visit the Alamo city during its eleven-day run, and Fiesta San Antonio generates an economic impact of $284,000,000, which provides financial opportunities for more than 200 local non-profit organizations.
