We, Fight Against Aids Guinee West Africa in abbreviation: FAAG WestAfrica, is a Non Governmental, Non Profit Organization founded for thepurpose of eradicating Hiv/Aids, Malaria, Tuberculosis and Poverty. Weare located in Kountia, Commune de Coyah and T7, Sonfonia, Commune de Ratoma, Conakry, Republic of Guinea.We are in Partnership with the Ministry of Health Republic of Guineaand is registered with other Health bodies such as COMITTE NATIONAL DELUTTE CONTRE LE SIDA (C.N.L.S.), NUMBER: 58, NATIONAL DU PROJECT SIDA.NUMBER: 48, ICASSO, ICASSA, MAP and IAVI.We were registered in the month of June 6th, 2007 with a registerednumber: A/949/MEAI/MATD/CAB/DNLPAJ/2007.Our NGO is governed by a board of Trustees made up of six members anda Consultative body of twelve members excluding Volunteers.OUR MISSION:Eradication of Hiv/Aids, Malaria, Tuberculosis and Poverty, Women Empowerment and Building the minds of the youths to embrace future with Boldness and Responsibility.OUR IMPACT: HEALTH:Sansiblizing of communities, Prevention and Care for people living with Hiv, Taking charge of Children Orphaned through Hiv/Aids, Partnering with health institutions and Organization for the training and supports of our workers or team adopting new, advanced and comfortable systems for effective services. OUR IMPACT: EDUCATION:Educating and Teaching of children from ages 9-17 on self reliance. Teaching them on how to be self reliant using their hands to production thereby eradicating poverty. When a child is educated he seizes to be a liability to himself and others. The education on new technologies exposes a child to better environment and makes him to be useful to others and the society in general.OUR IMPACT: AGRICULTURE:Self sustainability is one of the key ways to fight poverty. School to land is a program we intend to implement for agricultural productions which will help to fight poverty.OUR IMPACT: ORPHANAGE HOME: Care of Orphaned through Hiv/Aids etc.
