Fight for a Cure Ltd aims to unite local communities to fund breakthrough cancer research projects, and innovative community based early detection and prevention programs. Our initial focus is on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia where we have held an annual Charity Ball over the past 3 years (under the name 'Fight on the Beaches) raising over $800 000 for cancer research.Our first community program will focus on providing free breast, cervical and skin cancer checks to Mothers of pre-school aged children, with a free creche facility. We hope to have a positive impact not only with the funding we provide for cancer research, but through the prevention and early detection of cancer in our community.
