The Filipino-Australian Student Council (FASTCO) of Victoria is the state-wide flagship network of all Filipino and Australian (with Filipino roots) students. Founded in 2012 by Filipino scholars from various universities, FASTCO is the first Filipino student organisation established in Australia. It aims to foster ties among students towards a shared sense of community. More specifically, FASTCO works with an agenda of (1) fellowship, (2) advocacy, (3) services, and (4) thrust that redound to the collective good of its stakeholders in the Filipino-Australian society. For 2016-2017, FASTCO has crafted its visionary framework as a vibrant, dynamic, and inclusive organisation.
