Art of Africa was founded in January 1991 by Zimbabwean Deborah Norman, in Walton Street, London. Three years later, it relocated to its present position at Fillingdon Farm, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, nestled in the Chiltern Hills of Buckinghamshire. For the next 20 years Art of Africa annually presented two large mixed group exhibitions of original art and craft.In 2014, the gallery was re-launched as Fillingdon Fine Art and continues to exhibit exceptional contemporary paintings, sculpture, ceramics and jewellery by artists associated with Africa. The emphasis is on quality and originality.
