FDA is the trade body that champions the interests of UK film distributors – the companies that launch films in cinemas and promote them to audiences. Our mission is to give our member companies and other contacts all the generic support they need to make the most of their individual business opportunities. To fulfil this mission we pursue five work programmes: training & development; safeguarding content; media services; audience development; and policy initiatives. Our online hub, launchingfilms.com, includes a comprehensive schedule of UK film release dates, a guide to film distribution and more about FDA and our projects.
