Filmtroupe is a production company based in Venice, California. We develop, write and produce narrative and documentary films with a focus on youth-oriented subject matter and social justice issues. In post production: Gold Stars is a feature narrative film about an inner city teacher who gives her female students a controversial writing assignment about guns. In production: American Golfer is a feature documentary about a woman's quest to bond later in life with her father. Highlighting family, diversity in golf, its history and future as a mainstream sport in America.
