Final Turn Racing Stables considers itself a "New Age" stable that originated from a few friends who owned horses together and decided to revolutionize and modernize the owner/trainer relationship. James Costabile and the other early supporters of Final Turn passionately believed that horse ownership could be made available to people of all walks of life and done so in a way that re-energized the public interest in the "sport of kings". Final Turn employs a unique system by which its partners make a one time investment and run no risk of on-going bills of any kind. Rather, the trainer is responsible for all ongoing horse maintenance and care expenses in return for a larger than typical share of the purse earnings. The end result is a much more unbiased and mutually beneficial owner/trainer relationship and race selection that is much more suitable for the horse's natural capabilities. Final Turn prides itself on its winning tradition and its ability to bring family, friends, and colleagues together to create lifelong memories with the entertainment and thrill of thoroughbred horse racing!
