Finance Scholars Program - UTEP Details
The Finance Scholars Program (FSP), is a student initiative dedicated to educate its members in financial literacy, capital markets, financial statement analysis, valuation methodologies, and portfolio management. FSP aims to instruct its members through workshops, one on one coaching, and practical application of concepts through the Student Investment Fund.Purpose:- Establish a student-run investment fund, and provide practical application of financial principles within the capital markets - Supplement development of technical skillset for students through advanced material/resource coverage- Expand opportunities for networking and undergraduate experiences (e.g. internships) through application within the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP).- Boost UTEP's international recognition in the business environment, and further support the Institution's mission
