Business established in 1998 to assist individuals and small business owners to manage debt by negotiation with creditors, creating workable repayment plans that were fair and equitable to all parties involved. Many informal negotiations were successfully concluded. As a Registered Debt Agreement Administrator, the Principal, Jasmyn Mumme was also able to facilitate the Federal Government Debt Agreement Repayment Plans under Part IX of the Bankruptcy Act where all interest and legal collection action were frozen and a majority of creditors supporting a new payment plan would bring real relief to vulnerable people.After 12 years in this field, in 2010, Jasmyn sold the business but after twelve months was encouraged by industry professionals to return. A new company was set up, Active Debt Specialists.
