Financial Data Systems was the name I used when I was working on investment strategies. At that point I developed software systems to construct buy-sell strategies that took into account some idiosyncratic aspects of price volatility while trying to maintain low fees. Mostly I modeled price volatility for sectors and individual stocks and traded based on buy-sell signals that had worked historically. Not rocket science but interesting. Now I see that Financial Data Systems is the name of a newer company that does debt-collection. That's not me.
