The Financial Hope Collaborative (FHC) at Creighton University identifies economic barriers for low and moderate-income households; identifies best practices in programs and policies; and then adapts them to meet the needs of the local community. Creating replicable solutions and collaborating across sectors will foster household financial stability, improved health outcomes and social mobility for those living on the margins in Omaha.Furthermore, FHC is awaiting publication on the findings of the first clinical trial in the country to study the impact financial education has on the health outcomes of low-income single-mothers.
