The Financial Services Promotion Agency is a dedicated parastatal organization operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Financial Services, Good Governance and Institutional Reforms. It is mandated by the Financial Services Act 2007 (as amended) for the promotion and development of Mauritius as an International Financial Centre (IFC) of excellence. The Financial Services Promotion Agency is working in line with the vision of government in view to offer the international business community a new level of sophistication and to promote Mauritius as an international Financial Centre of repute and of substance and which would act as platform for cross-border investments into the region and into emerging markets. The agency works closely with Governmental bodies, public sector institutions and private sector companies to promote Mauritius as an International Financial Centre and ensure that its strategy congruent with the needs of the financial services sector. The FSPA is the key contact for advice and support relating to all matters concerning the financial services. The mandate for promoting Mauritius as an investment platform for Africa also rest with the FSPA.
