"So often, we hear about starving children all over the world. We hear about diseases running rampant through entire villages because the people don't have the resources necessary to combat them. We hear their cries for help, but how often is it that we do something about it?This is the question that has convicted me for years, and it is time to make a change. It is time to help those that cannot help themselves. It is time to be a beacon of hope for those who do not have it.Soccer is my passion, my love, my escape from reality, and with an estimated 3.5 billion fans around the world, i know that I cannot be the only one who feels this way. Children everywhere play the world's most loved sport without the luxuries that I had growing up; polished turf fields, brand new Nike's, the newest and most technologically advanced match balls. They play in hardened, uneven dirt, barefoot, with rocks wrapped in old newspapers as balls.I don't know about you, but if a I played in those conditions, I would be running home and crying to my mother before you could say "goal".Seeing that first hand was my inspiration for Find Feet, which was started to provide children all over the world with the same equipment that I was blessed to have growing up, to keep me safe and to allow me to play to my full potential.So… Who are we?
