Findlay Park is an independent investment partnership based in London. Our purpose is to generate compelling compound returns for our investors, measured over decades. The Findlay Park American Fund was launched in March 1998 and has delivered a 11.9% p.a. compound return since inception, net of fees (as at end-June, 2022). We believe that we can generate higher compound returns for our clients by taking less risk. This is counter to what most people believe: that to generate higher returns you need to take more risk. Our starting point is trying to avoid losses by controlling the downside risk in each individual investment.We've intentionally kept our business simple: with one investment team, based in one location, managing one strategy. We believe that ‘Keeping It Simple' maximises our focus and improves our performance. We aim to do a few things incredibly well; we don't aspire to be the biggest but we do aspire to be the best in all we do.We believe that continual learning and a readiness to evolve are essential to success. We always want to learn from our mistakes, and we continually look to improve the way we do things across our entire business.As an independent partnership our interests are fully aligned with our clients.
