Fine Art Biblio began out of the need for accurate, detailed and up to date information about Fine Art pieces, such as that which is found in an artist's catalog raisonné. Currently, to find such information, one must peruse libraries, museums, artist websites and/or other online sources, which often present scant or conflicting information. We find this process cumbersome, time consuming and expensive. There is an increasing need to make this information available to users in a single, online platform that is easy to access, robust and designed for research. Our vision is to present the complete works of established artists in a single, searchable, online platform that is accurate and constantly updating in order to represent the ever evolving nature of provenance. Fine Art Biblio will respond to the need for education and research by providing users with a single source for accurate and detailed information about artists and their works. We compile these details directly from the artist, working with his/her studio or foundation to present all information exactly as the artist intends. For the user, information is rich in detail, easy to find and completely reliable. For the artist, we provide cutting edge tools with which to manage his own oeuvre or experienced support to assist him in this endeavor. We offer inviting content, which encourages our users to inquire, explore and discover new details about the body of work of every artist on our site.
