Finger Lakes Racing & Events was established with the goal of creating unique quality running events in the Finger Lakes area while supporting the community. The organization works solely with non-profit groups to raise funds that support our community.Events include:-Canandaigua Classic Half Marathon & 5k (May)-The Twilight 5k (August)-The Superhero 5k (June)-Oktoberfest 5k (September)-Hair of the Dog 5k (January 1st)Fees collected by Finger Lakes Racing go towards operational expenses such as website design, race registration processing, permit fees and back-office work. This allows our non-profit clients to run a successful event without worrying about the details. Our "staff" are volunteers- making sure that the most proceeds possible are returned to our community groups.Additional services include grant writing, donor database management and donor relations, donor recognition events, and fundraising.
