The Finnish Yearbook of International Law (FYBIL) honours and strengthens the Finnish tradition in international legal scholarship.While firmly grounded in traditional legal scholarship FYBIL is open to contributions from all over the world and from all persuasions. It stands out as a forum for theoretically informed, interdisciplinary, high-quality publications on all aspects of public international law.Annual volumes of FYBIL include articles, shorter notes, commentaries, book reviews, and overviews of Finnish state practice. Submissions for the general and special sections of FYBIL undergo a double-blind review. The editorial board and renowned experts of various areas of international law will review the submissions' intellectual quality and prospects for advancing academic debate.
