Formerly known as Gettenberg Consulting, ACI was founded in 1984 with the goal of becoming an industry leading provider of broker-dealer accounting services. In the summer of 1986, ACI signed their first lease on Wall Street, with the expectation of specifically servicing securities firms located on the trading floors of the NYSE - New York Stock Exchange and the ASE - American Stock Exchange.
