Finta and Partners Architect Studio Ltd has been founded in October 1994. Although we have started our self-reliant operations in January 1995 we have a much longer story of professional curriculum. Key members are all former workmates or pupils of Academician, Univ. professor Dr. József Finta working in LAKÓTERV state company since 1958, holder of State-, Ybl- and Kossuth-prizes. Many among his pupils and workmates has gained adequate skills to fulfil project-architect status, have completed Master-Course at the Chamber of Hungarian Architects, become lecturers at Budapest Technical University. Our main human resources are: 16 leading project architects, 15 architects, 2 architectural engineers, and a 2 persons administrative support staff. Our architectural practice with the order of magnitude of 35-40 in-house personnel operates in downtown Budapest, has numerous certified specialists and engineers in related multidisciplinary companies with outstanding reputation. In our Studio projects are usually arranged/disposed by the management and then completed by a project team headed by a lead/coordinating architect (always as a single point of responsibility) nominated by the directorate – or if size and complexity of larger project would require – helped by a supporting management group of 2-3 lead designers.
