Fire and Knife BBQ started by accident. Seriously, it was not intentional. You see, Corbyn and Josh started grinding sausage as a hobby and the folks back at their work said, "Bring us more." Then they began curing their own bacon and slow-smoking it before slicing it thick and we could barely keep any for ourselves before it was sold off. With time (say, a few weeks or so) the guys started sharing their slow-smoked Texas Style Beef Brisket and Pulled Pork with friends and coworkers. This lead to our first, official BBQ Cook where we broke in our huge Pig Smoker and we sold out in a matter of a couple hours. It seemed we were on to something and going "legit" and starting a real, grown-up business was the only way to go. We got certified as Kansas City Barbeque Society judges and the guys took butchering and cooking classes. Our BBQ sauces were cooked up and tested along with our family-recipe sides that complement our Q. Now, a mere 4 months later, we are happy and proud to announce that we WON the 2016 Saratoga's All-American Celebration Best Newcomer and Best OVERALL BBQ! We appreciate all the support from our family, friends, co-workers, and Church! Let the adventure BEGIN.
