At FBCMJ, we believe that God has given us one great purpose as a church: We glorify God by making followers of Jesus Christ. As we study the Bible, we see that there are three major characteristics that define followers of Jesus. Followers of Jesus love God (Matthew 22:37-38), love people (Matthew 22:39), and go into the world (Matthew 28:18-20). So we want everything we do at FBCMJ to be focused on that. From worship to small group Bible studies to ministries and missions, our great hope for all of it is that God would make us into followers of Jesus who love God, love people, and go into the world.
