First Baptist Church of Ann Arbor is a historic American Baptist congregation located around the corner from the central campus of the University of Michigan. An inclusive and diverse community of faith, we value our Baptist heritage and principles while striving to learn from and embrace the wisdom of other traditions. Roughly half our membership comes from a background other than Baptist, including other Protestant traditions, the Catholic Church, other religious traditions, and no religious tradition at all. We share a commitment to lifelong learning and growth, to committed service and social action, and to exceptional worship and music.
