First Break Details
First Break is a Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative from Fission Labs to provide job seekers their first break into the corporate sector. Students, once out of school/college, find it difficult to get exposure to various kinds of industries and the roles available in each industry. Even when they are aware, they find it hard to get access to, or get in front of employers. This problem is even worse for the candidates who come from rural & small town backgrounds. First Break tries to bridge this gap by bringing a number of companies to the small town communities for a day long event.
