We improve process control with easy-to-use /PLC/Control systems like MicroController XC with a unigue hardware and software designed to fit selected processes within the metallurgical and energy areas. In this way we can keep the price down at the same time as we give the user all the tools and hardware he needs within a single compact PLC unit. In order to make the work simpler for the user we have also developed a very efficient graphical technique FirstGraph which reduces the engineering time considerable. First Control has more than 20 years experience of delivering cutting-edge solutions that has improved the efficiency and quality for many companies. Installations have been made in many differerent processes such as cold rolling mills, continous casters, steel furnaces, gas turbines, oil burners and bio-fuel plants etc. Today there are more than 200 self-learning controllers installed and in average we have achieved a 75% improvement in accuracy compared to conventional PLC solutions whenever a self-tuning regulator is used. The intelligence and the compact nature of the XC PLC units also make them extremely useful in embedded solutions.
