First Design LLC was founded to help entrepreneurs produce high-quality prototypes at a price that makes sense for an early-stage venture. Our team of Yale-trained engineers specialize in efficiently building hardware and automation products with the key features necessary to help young companies communicate their idea, secure funding, and gather customer feedback. We have experience working on a wide variety of engineering projects, from small start-ups to large-scale industry jobs. These range from the development of an automated coffee machine and a 3D printed hexacopter, to the design of a multi-pollutant monitor for the Environmental Protection Agency and the manufacturing of jet engine components for the Boeing 737.
