First Responder Coaching has been established to provide coaching resources for spouses, partners, and families who are connected to all branches of 1st Responding.As a wife of a police officer for 15 years, I've lived firsthand through the struggles of the job. I used to feel exhausted with worry, saddened by our lack of connection, and was devastated when my husband was hospitalized due to PTSD(I), depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. Four years later, I feel energized with a renewed sense of hope for our marriage, for our family and our future. It's been a learning process and now I feel ready to share how and why our marriage survived with all of you!There are so few resources for spouses of law enforcement members who are suffering from PTSD(I). I want to provide a resource that supports the growth, the healing, and the happiness, for all effected by the trauma sustained through First Responding.
