The Irvington Robotics Team - the "Bulldog Bytes" - is FIRST Robotics Competition Team #7759, located in Irvington, NY. We are committed to our mission of improving STEM education in our community and providing high school students with an opportunity to explore robotics in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. We see this type of STEM education as vital in a world that is increasingly pivoting towards automation and artificial intelligence, creating opportunities for those who understand these topics well. By following the FIRST philosophies of Gracious Professionalism® and Coopertition®, we also hope to teach our members how to be good people as well as just good roboticists. In addition to these serious benefits of being on a robotics team, most of our members also see it as a fun escape from the stressful life of high school and a way to meet people with similar interests.
