firstByte UofA sprung out of Hack Arizona, the largest collegiate hackathon in the Southwest (hosted at the University of Arizona), due to the need to provide a support network for those wanting to expand their technical skillsets.We are now an organization that provides free hands on technical workshops at UofA and in local Tucson schools and the Tucson community all year round. Our workshops are mostly taught by student volunteers who are passionate about technology, and designed to be hands on experiences enabling anyone who is interested to start their journey in the technology community.
