Established in 1969, FIS IMPIANTI is the classic private company so common in Europe, mainly in Italy, where the management covers the most important role surrounded by technician staff. Premises are in Cassina de' Pecchi, in the hinterland area of Milan. They cover an area of 10.000 sqmt, of which some 2400 for workshop and warehouse and 1200 for offices. Since 30 years FIS IMPIANTI has been designing, developing, manufacturing and installing machines and complete lines for palletised items (with or without wooden pallet) by means of shrinking or stretching film. The use of plastic films for the protection of palletised loads during transportation and stocking started in the furnaces and building material field of activity (in addition to the transportation, the plastic film solved also the problem of exposition to weather conditions). The entrance of FIS IMPIANTI into the paper mill area dates back to the early ‘80s, with the first stretching film wrapping machine for paper rolls coming from the pope and destined to converting. In this field of activity, FIS can supply, in addition to semiautomatic and fully automatic machines, a wide range of equipment for paper rolls handling up to the final shipping stage. FIS IMPIANTI 's range includes the possibility to process the information on the Customer's production by means of the most modern technology: product recognition, automatic dimensions detection, weighing, label printing and sticking, data transmission to/from the Host Computer and the like. Our experience and flexibility is at Customers' disposal for evaluation of projects and manufacturing of special, tailor made machinery.
