FiveA stands for the "Alliance of Agile and Adaptive Approaches Aficionados." But as we can't say that in a single breath, we refer to it as FiveA or FiveA.orgOur social enterprise is founded on the belief that conventional change methods and approaches are often ineffective. We understand that more iterative, agile methods with adaptive leadership approaches can better deal with complex dynamic organisations and their environments.In other words, we are passionate about ‘changing the change'.Many organisations use linear approaches and mechanistic factory-like processes to deal with complex social challenges. This, while sometimes useful, can lead to fragmentation, bureaucracy and loss of meaning of work.Producing better social outcomes when working within a complex dynamic system requires organisations to build more adaptive capacity (we like 'Teal; Organisations).
