FixNGive is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation that aims to empirically identify technological needs of underfunded schools in underprivileged areas in Greater Cincinnati. It markets to collect computers, laptops, and other technological items in the form of tax-acknowledgeable donations from individuals and organizations to securely 'wipe' the devices according to Department of Defense standards and repair them, if needed. Appropriate operating systems are installed and applications are optimized. The processed donations are then distributed to the schools and organizations with technological needs.At FixNGive, we recognize the crucial role of access to technology and the internet for a fulfilling and complete education. Unimpeded access to the internet is our goal for all students, so that our future leaders in all fields have the resources to develop vast knowledge of the world and innovate powerfully.
