With a mandate to develop a cost effective, fail safe, remote wildfire detection system, the team at FlameSniffer™ combined knowledge from Australia and California to design and manufacture a system that assists Emergency Services in locating and rapidly containing the onset of wildfire, in any conditions, throughout all terrains.Early Detection of the onset of Wildfire provides the greatest opportunity of containment, especially in remote areas. Comprehensive, micro-climate real-time wildfire information ensures the greatest opportunity in dispatching Emergency Services to the most effective containment point. The FlameSniffer™ Wildfire Detection Network was developed to sense the onset of a Wildfire, pinpoint the exact location and provide valuable information about the conditions before it has time to spread. The Network consists of patented multi sensor units that can be installed throughout all terrains providing constant monitoring of an entire area, awaiting the onset of a Wildfire. In the event of a Wildfire, sensors built into each unit transmit the GPS location of the fire and critical real time information including wind speed and direction, providing Emergency Services with intelligence of where the fire is travelling from its current location.The FlameSniffer™ Defense System is a fully automatic self-sufficient wildfire protection system built into the external fascia or gutters of a structure to protect it from wildfire and ember attack. The patent pending technology is fail-safe and requires no human intervention to operate. The system consists of automatic smart multi-sensors known as 4C's that are positioned around a property to automatically detect ember or wildfire attack.
