Situated in the glorious English countryside of Herefordshire's Golden Valley, Flavex has been manufacturing flavours, plant extracts and pharmaceutical products since we were founded in 1983.Flavex operates to the very highest standards of quality, reflected in the company being accredited with ISO 9001:2000 and FEMAS, as well as holding a Medicines Manufacturer licence subject to review by the UK's Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Authority on behalf of the UK Department of Health.Flavex supplies ingredients to food, pharmaceutical and herbal medicine manufacturers in over 38 countries of the world.Within the food industry, Flavex ingredients are mainly to be found in bakery, beverage, dairy and confectionery products. A recently established division within the company, is Flavex Moore Tang, supplying flavours and phytogenic products to the animal feed industry. FEMAS accreditation ensures that customers can use Flavex Moore Tang products in the confidence that they meet the stringent regulatory guidelines.Flavex International Limited also offer contract-manufacturing facilities for processing customers' ingredients into finished products.Flavex is licensed by the UK Medicines Regulatory Body (MHRA) to manufacture licensed medicines for oral use in bulk. The licence also enables us to 'assemble' (pack) products into the final form used by the patient.The Flavex facility meets the stringent needs of Medicines including dedicated plant for manufacture and packing in controlled environment areas.Flavex is part of The Quest Group, which is based in Birmingham, UK.
