Flexworks recognizes local organizations that have flexible workplace policies, designs custom pilot programs for interested organizations, and conducts research in the field of workplace flexibility, and mobility.The purpose of Flexible Workplace Initiative Program is to provide outreach to the business community to:Create change in your community by increasing the number of local employers who use workplace flexibility as a business strategy and measure the positive impact of workplace flexibility and outline the numerous benefits to the community. Flexible Workplace Initiative Objectives:To Promote Business Success - employers that are effective and flexible are more likely to have employees who are engaged, satisfied with their jobs, want to remain with their employers and are in better physical and mental health; To Promote Employee Success - employees who work in effective and flexible workplaces are less stressed and have a better fit between their work and personal or family lives; and To Promote Community Success - communities that have effective and flexible workplaces can attract new employers as well as address community issues such as traffic congestion, retention of talent, and generational diversity.
