Flight Case is a unique summer program taking place once a year, in which 28 Master students and 2 Professors will visit Seattle and Vancouver to solve multi-faceted design challenges.After visiting Japan, Taiwan, China and Brasil, this year, we will go to Denmark and Sweden! We are looking for companies with interesting and challenging cases. The students will prepare the case in the Netherlands and finish their propositions during a visit at the companies. Our goal is to create dynamic and innovative solutions for various companies.Interested? Please contact us: flightcase-svid@tudelft.nlTo give you a quick overview of the program, Flight Case consists of two phases:A research phase which will be conducted from April to the end of June on the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering in Delft. Students will research the companies. In this stage, they will apply the methods our faculty is famous for to determine the direction of the case. The design cases will be perfected and finished during the trip itself. For 3 weeks in July, the students will visit multiple companies for several days to complete the cases and present the results. You can be one of these companies!Our students have many specializations:Strategy development: We can analyse the business structure and develop new directions to expand in the future. We can also improve and redesign the brand strategy of the company.Concept design: We can analyse the product portfolio of the company and design new product concepts.Service development: If a business is more service-oriented, we can analyse the customer experience and improve and redesign the company's service.We are looking for motivated and excited companies that are interested in getting an international perspective, a Design Thinking crash course, and innovative design solutions!
