FUCA, the Flinders University Criminology Association, was established only last year in 2019. The association was created by passionate criminology students who recognised the need to provide criminology students with support, representation and a sense of community. Since Flinders University introduced the Bachelor of Criminology, and prior to 2019, criminology and law and society students alike were deprived of a student body dedicated to enhancing their university experience.FUCA's vision and purpose is to provide Flinders criminology students with a sense of community and belonging, provide networking opportunities, expose job opportunities and create and maintain connections with relevant organisations, entities and potential future employers. It is also crucial for FUCA to strive to enhance student engagement by organising social, academic and networking events.The opportunities FUCA provides is only possible due to the efforts of our volunteers and members who dedicate their time towards helping give students the most valuable university experience possible.
