Glass, Ceramics & Concrete - Salzbergen, Niedersachsen, Germany
Flintermann Glasveredelungs GmbH; Specializing in bended Glass! History The company D. Flintermann was founded in 1866 in Schüttorf as a wholesaler for iron, glass and carbon. On 03/01/1981, the wholesaler Arnold Lammering took over D. Flintermann, including the entire staff. This resulted in the integration of the steel business of D. Flintermann with the firm Arnold Lammering. The glass wholesale, and the insulating glass production, continues today under the name D. Flintermann. Over the years, the production of insulating glass has been continuously developed and expanded. In 1992, after the location in Rheine had become too small for the production of insulating glass, the management decided for the relocation and thus construction of a new construction site in Salzbergen-Holsterfeld in spring 1993. Through merger with the insulating area of the company Günther GmbH & Co. KG in September 2001, the company Flintermann became a member of Uniglas GmbH & Co. KG, a joint venture of owner-managed, medium-sized glass processing companies. In 2008, further construction projects followed in Salzbergen-Holsterfeld. The production area was expanded to include glass finishing, so that in June 2008, the first orders of the new company Flintermann Glasveredelungs GmbH & Co. KG were taken. Spring 2009 was the start of construction of the latest production facility for single pane of glass finishing and laminated safety glass. The commissioning of new production began September of that year.
