Like many people, we shoot a lot of video that just sits on our smartphone because it's too hard and takes too long to do something nice with it. We also go somewhere and a friend shoots some video, but getting access to that video to watch or use is next to impossible. That's the genesis of Flixlab: we want to make it easy for friends to share footage with each other and to use that video to produce beautiful movies without lots of headaches, learning new tools, or being some super creative Spielberg-type. Flixlab is a new cloud-based social video platform that via smartphones makes it easy to take raw video and photos, select a theme that ties them all together, add music, effects, and titles and produce a polished movie ready for sharing. You can also share the source footage and pictures with your friends so they can make movies from your footage (and you from theirs).
