Since 1985 Jerry Kessie has provided management as well as field technical service for Floorcovering Technologies, Inc., a diversified cleaning, restoration and consulting business serving the Tampa Bay area of Florida. He is a Certified Master Cleaner, Master Restoration Technician, a Certified Senior Carpet Inspector and a Certified Mold Remediation Technician.Jerry serves as a consultant to fiber producers, carpet mills, insurance companies, retailers and consumers. He serves as a Regional Supervisor for the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), and has served as a Past President and Director of the International Society of Cleaning Technicians (ISCT), currently called the Society of Cleaning and Restoration Technicians (SCRT), receiving the President's Award for serving 10 years as a Director, four years as Vice President and five years as President. He has also served as a Director of the IICRC and served on several committees of the IICRC Certification Council.As an expert witness, Kessie has provided depositions and testimony in cleaning, restoration and indoor environmental quality litigation.
