Our mission: Providing businesses the expertise and resources to succeed.The Florida SBDC at UWF has assisted clients to create, retain and save 27,061 jobs and generate $3.0 billion in sales over the last 5 years. We are State Designated as Florida's Principal Provider of Business Assistance [288.001, Fla. Stat.]Our professionally certified business consultants delivered 11,046 hours of no-cost consulting to more than 1,000 entrepreneurs and small businesses in 2016 across our service area, which includes Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Bay, Calhoun, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson and Washington counties. We have offices in Pensacola, Fort Walton Beach, and Panama City, with circuit offices located throughout the region to provide Floridians access to our full suite of business services including:· Strategic Market Research· Business & Strategic Planning· Market & Revenue Growth Strategy· Capital Access & Loan Packaging· Financial Analysis & Assessment· Accounting & Financial Literacy· Feasibility Analysis & Start-up AssistanceThe Florida SBDC at UWF is a member of the Florida SBDC Network, a statewide service network funded in part through cooperative agreements with the U.S. Small Business Administration (www.sba.gov), Defense Logistics Agency, State of Florida and other private and public partners; hosted by the University of West Florida; and nationally accredited by the Association of SBDCs (www.asbdc-us.org)."
