Founded in 1978 with the launch of Nathalie – the first modern padded and upholstered bed with fully removable covers – and a clear mission to create a new sleep culture, Flou has now expanded into total living with wellness, design and quality Made in Italy.Flou's constant journey of research and innovation with the collaboration of illustrious names, including Vico Magistretti, has created beds - now true icons of design - and, by no coincidence, can be admired in every museum or exhibition dedicated to the history of design; the success was formalized by two prestigious ‘Compasso d'Oro' awards, presented by ADI – Associazione per il Disegno Industriale – in 2004 for the company as a whole and in 2020 for Nathalie.From the beds and everything connected to sleep science (mattresses, pillows, duvets and bedlinens), Flou evolved naturally to expand its product lines to include furniture and wardrobes, with the textured doors reflecting and confirming Flou's textile heart; also a stylish, exclusive collection of sofas, armchairs and items for the living room.
