FLx is an autonomous lab facility dedicated to design breakthroughs in (social)-innovation with the development of services in the fields of Applied Creativity, Active Buying, Learning Society etc. FLx projects like for example ‘Smartville' or 'Dutch Masters' are often referred to as moonshots, because all projects start with the intent to have an impact within 3-5 years, but the exact way to get there still requires an eXtraordinary approach. Because so much of the activities are creative at heart and extremely complex due to its multi-stakeholder nature, the lines between research and development are often very blurred. This unique speculative research approach allows the FLx projects to affect the world, both through improving the groups processes and services, and through the broader advancement of both financial as well as social value. The Business Design team within FLX grows innovative ideas in to genuine businesses ánd long-term invests in the flourishing of those initiatives.
