Flying Colours International is a vertically integrated manufacturer of flags, banners and environmental graphic décor. From design, art preparation and printing, to fabrication and fabric treatment, we have produced signage for some of the worlds largest and most prestigious corporate, cultural, government and sporting events worldwide. Scythes Inc., established in 1910, is a profitable, private Canadian company with a head office, plant and main warehouse facility in Toronto, Ontario. The company employs approximately 150 throughout Canada, and maintains sales offices and agencies throughout Canada and the U.S.A. The company is engaged in two core business activities. We are a fully integrated textile finisher, with a range of services that includes fabric dyeing, coating, treating, proofing and printing for the manufacturing, apparel and defence industries. Scythes "Flying Colours International" division is also Canada's largest manufacturer of flags and banners, with leading edge production capabilities, an in-house art and film department and a colour laboratory. We are the primary flag supplier to the Canadian and most provincial governments, and have supplied pageantry for many major events, including all recent Commonwealth and Olympic Games. We also provide custom fabric banners for the visual merchan- dising and display industries using spot, half-tone or four colour process screen printing. Fabrics include nylon, polyester, cotton and even exotic materials like silk, satin, bengaline and organza.
