FlyingScarecrows' project started with Start-Up Lab competition in Trento (Italy), from the innovative idea of four EIT Digital Master's students and two Management students. It consists in a drone, automatic both in flight and recharge, which scares birds away, by combining GPS and image recognition techniques. The project won the Start-Up Lab competition and will compete in the Virginia Tech KnowledgeWorks global challenge.
