Flypaper intends to create a direct connection between interested customers and advertisers via the wallpaper on their mobile phone. On a solely opt-in basis, users are able to independently direct the type of offers they receive, while advertisers benefit from a highly targeted advertising platform based on a users profile. The system functions as a network of personalized mobile billboards. In addition to receiving relevant offers and discounts on products/services they are interested in, users are also directly and indirectly incentivized through a portion of the revenue they generate. By providing incentives to non-profit organizations and existing reward programs (i.e., emiles, AAdvantage, Best Buy Rewards, etc.) based on the number of supporting users, Flypaper is able to leverage their user base to build our initial market. After the initial user sign up campaign, a viral marketing program based on referral incentives will be implemented to leverage the existing social networks within our target audience to rapidly increase the potential user base (i.e., Facebook, MySpace, YourCause, etc).
