Our mission is to provide sustainable urban and rural solutions for harmonious growth in Kosovo using Permaculture ethics and principles.Fondacioni Jeshil has spent the last three years designing and implementing pilot models of decentralised and community-based composting schemes aiming to develop alternative and environmentally -friendly solutions for management of organic waste in Kosovo. Supported by Centre for International Development and Cooperation of Slovenia, GIZ Sustainable Municipal Services programme and partner municipalities (Pristina, Vushtrri and Lipjan). List of projects -2015 Biomodd [PR] was a local iteration in Pristina of an international open-source community art project that links technology and plants. Supported by Kosovo Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture.-2015 – 2017 Permaculture Application for Holistic Urban and Rural Solutions. Project was supported by Swiss Cooperation Office in Kosovo, and through a crowdfunding campaign.-2017-2018 Edible Outdoor Classrooms: competency-based learning and healthier living in Kosovo. This project was supported by European Union and managed by Kosovar Civil Society Foundation.-(Ongoing) 2017 – 2020 Pilot models of decentralised composting for alternative organic waste management in Kosovo. This pilot initiative is supported by the German Development Cooperation through the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, and Centre for International Cooperation and Development of Slovenia (CMSR), implemented by Fondacioni Jeshil in partnership with the Municipality of Pristina.-(Ongoing) 2020 – 2021 Let's Talk About Food Waste.
