Updates and news about the Foundation activities. The Fondazione Giulio Onesti is dedicated to Giulio Onesti, former President of CONI (Italy's National Olympic Committee) who is considered the father of Italian sport. Established in 1983 in his memory, the Foundation promotes Onesti's legacy to new generations, in particular through activities aimed at high school students to educate through the culture of sport and the philosophy of fair play. Founding members of the Foundation are: the IOC, CONI, Agip Petroli, Alitalia, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Mondadori, Olivetti, the Casse Risparmio Italiane Association, Assicurazioni Generali, the Banca Nazionale del Lavoro, the Istituto per il Credito Sportivo, RAI-TV e, later, Assitalia. The Foundation is officially recognized by the President of the Republic's decree n. 565 of June 4, 1984.
