The Livio Sciutto Foundation for Medical Research, a Non-profit Social Organisation, was established in October 2007, the deed of incorporation drafted by Notary Public Riccardo RIDELLA, from Genoa. We were born with a small budget but with the spirit to carry out great projects to fight disease and improve quality of life for people.The Livio Sciutto Foundation has received, as donation, the patrimony and historical-scientific archives of the Scienza e Vita (Science and Life) Foundation, organisation founded by Prof. Lorenzo Spotorno in 1994 and which ceased its operations on 1st January 2008.The Foundation exclusively pursues goals of social solidarity by promoting the development of human knowledge in the medical-scientific domain, particularly orthopaedia, and supporting the prevention and care of all human pathologies through clinical research and the clinical application of the results obtained.
